Thrive in the 05: Old Pascua
The Pascua Yaqui tribe has been expanding their community services over the last few years, which now includes giving a second life to the previously closed Richey Elementary school building. This fall, Cyclovia will be hosting a hub at the Old Pascua Richey resource center.
Ahead of the fall event we had the pleasure of chatting with Elijah Garcia, from the New Pascua reservation. He gave us an insight into how the resource center works with the community, what he hopes Cyclovia attendees learn about the Pascua Yaqui tribe, and much more.
La tribu Pascua Yaqui ha estado ampliando sus servicios comunitarios en los últimos años, lo que ahora incluye dar una segunda vida al edificio de la escuela primaria Richey, anteriormente cerrado. Este otoño, Cyclovia albergará un centro en el centro de recursos Old Pascua Richey.
